When you use ClausePlay, we collect information you provide directly:

  • Account information: Email address and authentication details when you create an account.
  • Contracts: Documents you upload for analysis. These are stored securely and associated with your account.
  • Usage data: How you interact with the app, including pages visited, features used, and scenario responses.
  • Email subscription: If you subscribe to updates, we store your email address.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve the ClausePlay service, including AI-powered contract analysis.
  • To generate risk assessments and interactive scenarios from your uploaded contracts.
  • To manage your account, process subscriptions, and provide customer support.
  • To send product updates and tips if you opted into our mailing list.

3. AI Processing

Your contracts are processed by Anthropic's Claude AI to generate clause analysis, risk assessments, and interactive scenarios. We do not use your contracts to train AI models. Contract data sent to the AI is processed in real-time and not retained by the AI provider beyond what is necessary to deliver the response.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored using Supabase with row-level security, ensuring each user can only access their own contracts and data. Uploaded files are stored in encrypted cloud storage. All data is transmitted over HTTPS with TLS encryption.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or contract data with third parties, except:

  • With service providers necessary to operate ClausePlay (hosting, AI processing, payment processing).
  • When required by law or to protect our legal rights.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your contracts at any time from your dashboard. When you delete a contract, the uploaded file and all associated analysis data are permanently removed. If you wish to delete your account entirely, contact us and we will remove all your data.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Your Rights
